GSPACC Restaurant Week
The Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce wanted to revive a Restaurant Week that had been dormant for several years. Due to the lengthy hiatus, no marketing assets were readily available for the 2018 event. With only a month until the event, the GSPACC reached out to Goldiata Creative for help.
The first order of business was developing a one-page website and social media presence that would provide information to participants. This included the restaurants involved, and the specials they were offering. The next step was promoting the event through social media posting and reaching out to media outlets.
In only 4 weeks, we generated over 10,000 social media impressions without spending a dime on advertising. The combination of social media and press releases resulted in over 1,500 visitors to the website. After the event, one restaurant reported a 20% increase in sales during Restaurant Week. Most important, the community and restaurants are looking forward to future Restaurant Weeks.

1,537 Website Visits
I was tasked with coordinating Restaurant Week for our Chamber, which is a huge undertaking in itself, but I was also putting the July 4th parade together. I reached out to Brian for help, and I can’t say enough about the excellent job that he did for us.
This involved daily social media activity, public relations with the media to promote the event, and many other elements. Brian created stunning graphics for the website that incorporated logos and food offerings. He also produced flyers and postcards. This all happened in a matter of weeks, as we were behind the eight ball with no volunteers to help and no staff.
He did a fantastic job and will be back again for our January Restaurant week. The restaurants were extremely pleased with the project, with one reporting a 20% increase in traffic.
